What we are doing:
Reading: Unit 1 Week 3 “Little Flap Learns to Fly”
(ask & answer questions, key details)
Spelling/LA: Two letter blends, context clues, root words, subjects
Science/SS: Map Skills
Math: Add Two-Digit Numbers
Test/Projects: NO tests this week
Announcements:
*** IOWA testing is September 20-24. It begins each morning at 8 a.m. Going to bed early and eating a good breakfast will help your child concentrate better. These two things will be part of their homework assignments for the week of testing.
*** Study addition math facts 0-20 each night. We will have a timed math quiz most every week.
*** Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Sept 30 - Oct 4 Fall Break
October 5 Classes resume
7 WCDS all-school cookout 4:30-7:30 pm
